Normally, a single night stay on the island would cost as much as $1350. Hotels.com is currently offering a dramatically reduced cost of $2000 plus tax for a group of travelers interested in renting the place from November 14th to 21st. On top of everything normally included with the rental will come with a private chef to cook a Thanksgiving feast.
For a group of six people, the total would come to just $50 a night. This isn’t an ongoing promotion, however. It is only being offered on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning on October 27th at 10 a.m EST. While only one group of travelers will be able to take advantage of this particular deal, the island is available for year-round bookings.
Marathon is located in the Florida Keys and is known for its large coral reefs, snorkeling tours, and great fishing spots.
Take a boat or helicopter to the island
The island comes equipped with both a dock and a helipad, making travel there via boat or helicopter the best options. The island is surrounded by a moat as well. Guests are able to take advantage of personal boat services for guests, however.

The open floor plan comes complete with a fully equipped kitchen attached to a living room area. It consists of a satellite TV, couch, fireplace, dining table, and breakfast counter.
Travelers are also welcome to take their meals outside where they can enjoy them while looking out to the ocean from one of the many available lounge chairs.
A full-sized billiards table is also available on the wraparound deck.
If you aren’t interested in shooting some pool, you can just lounge on any of the deck chairs instead.
Plenty of Outdoor Activities Available, Including A Pool
Guests will be provided with a kayak and paddleboards so that they can enjoy all that the island has to offer. Visitors can also view the nearby coral reefs by boat or book kiteboarding lessons. There is no shortage of activities for guests to take part in!
For those who prefer swimming in a pool over in the ocean, a full-sized one is available on the property. The perfect lounge chairs for sunbathing or taking in the ocean views are also available nearby.
Normally, It Costs $9,500 A Week To Rent This Island
Under normal circumstances, the island would cost $9,500 to rent for a week. During some periods, that price can even jump up to $14,500.
There is also a guest cottage available on the property that has two beds, one bathroom, and one couch that can be converted into a bed. The guest cottage can be rented for $3,250 a week.
As of this writing, the state of Florida does not currently have any travel restrictions in place so now might be the right time for you to visit East Sister Rock Island!
