It’s no great mystery to anyone that our pets don’t follow a human’s sense of logic. They are their own personalities, after all, and they definitely have their own way of viewing the world around them.
Thankfully for us, it seems that our pets’ “logic” incorporates a major goof-factor, and all their seemingly nonsensical antics make us laugh until it hurts.
That being said, here are 12 pics of extra special animals who are absolutely operating on their own kind of logic.
1. They stick together
Clearly, there’s more than enough food for both of them, and even enough space to eat out of their own dish. But, why separate if you don’t need to? BFF’s for LIFE!!!
2. If it quacks like a duck
Fido here got a little jealous when his hoomans started throwing out treats to the ducks. Not one to be left out, this clever fella decided he would become a duck and get all the goods.
3. His guilt game is strong
“Can’t tell Tank “no” for nothing in the world because then he does this and makes me feel like sh**”
Well, you can’t really blame him, can you? Just look at that little pout. You’d be a monster not to give in.
4. He likes a challenge
They say that you can’t put “the cat” back in the bag once it’s been let out. And this cat took that challenge to heart. They didn’t say anything about the bag having to be perfect, though.
5. “Can’t keep me down!”
This is what happened when his hooman put him outside as a punishment for getting on the table in the house. Just look at the level of defiance written all over his face. It’s like he’s saying, “What are you gonna do now, bud?”
The owner definitely has his hands full with this one.
6. You sure you want all that pizza?
Don’t wanna give the cat a taste of your pizza, eh? Well, how bad do you want your pizza now? Cats never lose.
7. Keepin’ it fresh
“Even though he has a fresh bowl of water in this bathroom and the kitchen, he sits there scratching the wall until I turn the water on for a few minutes so he can drink it,” his own said. “He also waits for anyone to finish a shower so he can drink that too.”
Well, look at him. He’s much too good for stale water!
8. This is why cat houses aren’t a thing
His hooman built him a nice little house to call home. And he promptly showed his hooman that he’s going to have to seriously upgrade his interior decorating skills if he wants to build something truly cat-worthy.
9. Fashionably repurposed
This was the pup’s favorite ball until he chewed a hole through it. Not to worry, though. This fashionable fella upcycled it into a nifty head-scarf!
10. The hoomans will never know…
Just like us humans, our pets can get real lazy sometimes. Also like us, they hatch clever little plans to make sure no one’s any the wiser. This guy tried to dupe his parents by using his stuffed dog to stand watch over the door.
Clearly, he doesn’t think much of his parents’ ability to notice things.
11. A real-life Ninja Cat
Plenty of open surfaces to sit on, but this cat chooses the door handle of the car to perch like a bird. Why? Because he can.
12. Someone’s confused here, and we think it’s the hooman
She doesn’t know what her hoomans deal is. Every year she sets up the most beautiful cat tree and decorates it with cat toys. Then her hooman just freaks out every time she shows her appreciation. There’s just no pleasing some people.
