“I am 54. I think I feel about 34,” Rhonda, a beautiful blonde from Oklahoma explained to the camera.

In her mid-fifties, she felt younger than ever, but her hairstyle really needed an update.

She wanted something that would match how she felt on the inside, yet, she wasn’t willing to wait for it to grow out for years and years like her children recommended. In fact, she didn’t even really like long hair anyway!

“I like to wear my hair short and my children give me a hard time about it,” said Rhonda. “They like it to be longer and so I’ve been letting it grow, but I feel like I’m too old to have long hair!”

She admitted that long hair was just not what she wanted anymore, so what sort of style should she actually pursue?

It was a tough question. Luckily, the Makeover Guy was standing nearby just out of the shot, ready to assist. When it comes to doing makeovers, he is one of the best in the business, plus he makes some pretty great videos too. Just wait until you see Rhonda’s before and after pictures.

One of the main problems with long hair during middle age is that hair is thinning and becoming finer. In addition, Rhonda is a school teacher.

Every day, she works with four-year-olds in the classroom and she couldn’t have her hair getting in her face all of the time.

Long hair when working with kids that are so young and energetic is just asking for trouble.

As she goes from desk to desk in the classroom checking up on the kids and helping them with their assignments, long hair just gets in the way.

“I have to have it to where it’s styled, so I can maneuver easily with my students,” said Rhonda.

For those reasons, she mentioned to the Makeover Guy that she was hoping for something short and puffy.

It was a simple request that led to an amazing result.

The Makeover Guy explained exactly what he did to remedy the situation for her — “We boosted the blonde, gave her some dramatic eyes, and created a stacked, inverted, chin-length bob.”

A stacked, inverted chin-length bob?

After trying to deduce what that meant for a while, we concluded that we just had to watch the video to figure it out.

Then, in the final reveal, it all became very obvious.

The Makeover Guy is a pro, and you don’t question the pros. Sometimes, you just have to put your faith in them, sit back, relax, and wait to see what happens.

“I see a better me,” exclaimed Rhonda with a big smile on her face. “This will withstand the wind and the four-year-olds. I love it!”

Although, the first thing that Rhonda wanted to do was to call her kids on Facetime and see what they thought about her new look.

They weren’t going to believe it!

She got her daughter and granddaughter on the phone. Meanwhile, the Makeover Guy stood right by her side, fluffing it all up to show off the sassy style that he had created.

“Is it children approved?” Rhonda joked on the call. The answer was a resounding yes!
