Having a baby around in the house will always make you smile in awe at their cuteness, and that feeling is even greater when you have two of them running (or crawling) around.
Even though we’d love to stay at home and admire our kids every minute of every day, parents still need to go to work.
Leaving home every day can be incredibly hard to do, especially when the kids don’t really understand yet why you have to leave them.
However, even though going away might be painful, you’ll always be met with excitement and joy when you return home, just like the father of these two adorable twin siblings.
These two babies must’ve missed daddy very much.
Their reaction when dad finally returns home after spending hours at work is a touching and precious one that you just have to see for yourselves.
Recently, footage of the adorable twins has gone viral on the internet, even though the video is now more than a decade old!
We’re pretty sure that these two babies have grown up a lot since then, but their incredible reaction as toddlers can always be seen on the internet. It’s clear that they were still very young, they weren’t able to walk around yet and had to crawl to explore their home.
The video starts with the two babies playing around on the floor.
Suddenly, they hear footsteps approaching the front door and they’re immediately intrigued. The look on their faces truly says it all!
The two babies, named Anabel and Lydia, were definitely extremely curious. They can’t really tell what’s going on or who is coming, and the look on their faces is just priceless.
Of course, it’s perfectly normal for babies to be curious, it’s a normal part of their development.
They see the world around them in a unique and different way, which is why they tend to have very curious responses to even the most normal things. Life must be pretty complicated as a baby!

They finally seem to realize that daddy is back, and the two really can’t stop smiling.
They’re in awe that their daddy finally came back home to play with them! Their smiles are certainly infectious. It took a little bit longer for the baby dressed in pink to process things, as her sibling was already smiling away. How precious!
Of course, daddy was super excited to see his twin girls again too!
Everybody is smiling from ear to ear, and this reunion didn’t come a second a too soon.
It must be amazing coming home to these two adorable and smiling toddlers.
As we’ve mentioned, the video was taken almost a decade ago, and these toddlers have definitely grown quite a bit since then. For example, check out this cool family photo above that was taken seven years later.
