Xavier King is a 12 year old boy with a tough story. Growing up with severe scoliosis, Xavier was forced to wear a supportive back brace throughout his time at school.
In an attempt to blend in and not raise any attention, Xavier made sure to wear his brace under his shirt whenever he was at school.
Unfortunately for him, students began to notice the brace through his shirt, resulting in a lot of them picking on him.
Although the brace was a necessary tool for him to support his back, Xavier could not help but lose confidence over the constant bullying.
That is when one local tattoo artist stepped in and did what he could to change things. Evil Anjel of Anarchy Tattoos & Art Co took notice of an online post shared by Xavier’s mother, Ashley King, detailing how her son goes through a lot just because of this back brace.
Anjel realized he may have what it takes to help raise Xavier’s confidence and change his unsightly back brace into a work of art. Contacting the King family, Anjel offered to create a unique and beautiful design for Xavier’s brace.
Turning the white back brace canvas into a colorful and powerful work of art, Anjel painted the image of a shark on Xavier’s brace to represent how strong he really is.
With beautiful shades of blue, grey, and black, Anjel has made something Xavier would be proud to show off and represent. With a boost in confidence, Xavier is ready to show of his new masterpiece and show the kids in school how strong he really is!
