For some dogs, sharing and showing affection is just a part of their nature. That definitely applies to this adorable and precious corgi, who simply can’t resist hugging every single dog he meets when he goes on walks with his owner.

The Pembroke Welsh corgi, who listens to the name Wallace, has always been incredibly social and gets along with other dogs really well.

His owner Noah Raminick noticed that his dog was definitely more affectionate towards other pooches than the average dog, but he didn’t think much of it at first.

However, after having to stop every single time during walks because Wallace wanted to give his canine friends and strangers a hug, Noah realized what kind of precious and loving pup he has. And it’s not always dogs that receive all the love – the corgi adores humans just as much.

“He’s the biggest sweetheart,” Noah said to The Dodo. “He’s always very happy to be around people and other dogs. He loves to give face kisses to people and when he sees another dog, he’s always the one to initiate a play session.”

Of course, Noah does his best to try and capture as many of these beautiful moments as possible, and they’re truly a delight to look at.

You might wonder, what about significantly larger dogs? Well, Wallace wants to spread the love with everybody, and this small corgi pooch definitely isn’t afraid to approach his larger siblings to give them a hug.

Of course, he has to stand on his hind legs to make those warm embraces possible in the first place, but Wallace will do everything he can to hand out hugs.

It’s actually heartwarming to see, especially in times where we can’t hug other people ourselves.

In fact, one of Wallace’s best friends is a Great Dane called Daisy, and she absolutely dwarfs him.

“They always hug when they see each other,” Noah added. “And one of her paws weighs as much as Wallace’s entire body.”

On the opposite side of the spectrum, Wallace is also very careful for and thoughtful of dogs that are much smaller than him. For example, he’ll always approach them very gently and he doesn’t want to spook them either.

When they play around, Wallace always makes sure that the other pup is as comfortable as possible.

He also won’t just give hugs randomly to dogs who are scared, he’ll sniff them out first to ‘ask’ for their permission.

Wallace’s owner has no idea how the hugging started, but he certainly doesn’t mind and thinks it’s adorable.

“The thing I find interesting with his hugging is that he wasn’t trained to do that at all,” he said. “I think it comes down to him being really excited about playing with another dog.”

And when Wallace isn’t outside hugging other dogs, he makes sure to give his human family members a lot of attention too.

“His favorite things are morning and evening cuddles, playing fetch and me chasing him around the house,” his owner said. “I don’t think Wallace has any dislikes.”
