While it’s important to get regular health checkups, few cause more hesitation than a trip to the dentist. There’s just something about having a stranger digging around in your mouth that tends to make people uncomfortable. Fortunately, at least one man is taking it upon himself to rehabilitate the image of dentists everywhere—and the way he’s doing it has to be seen to be believed.

The doctor’s name is Milad Shadrooh and he has a private practice based out of the UK. After having difficulties getting children to enjoy going to the dentist or being passionate about oral hygiene in general, he decided to make a YouTube channel doing parodies of popular songs to help spread awareness for good dental health. While his videos were definitely a hit with children, they’ve proven even more successful than he could’ve imagined.

Though his entire channel is worth perusing for a range of popular song parodies, the most popular video on his channel is his take on Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You” which he dubbed “Save Your Tooth.” As of today, it has more than a half a million views on YouTube.

After watching the clip for ourselves, we have to say that we get what’s going on here. Shadrooh’s voice is honestly pretty solid for the material he’s covering, not to mention how creative he gets twisting his words and coming up with so many tooth-themed lyrics. Last but not least, his dancing eyebrows really take everything to a new level all on their own.

Although these videos are good for a quick laugh, it’s encouraging to see someone so passionate about their craft who is also creative enough to share that passion with a wider audience. After all, it’s not only kids who can benefit from Shadrooh’s content—no matter how old we get, none of us ever truly outgrow our fear of going to the dentist. Good on Shadrooh for putting in the work to change that, though.

Please SHARE this with your friends and family.
