Going from long hair down to short is always a very difficult and emotional affair.
Many of us become so attached to our luscious locks that choosing to lessen the load so to say is not a decision that is made lightly. After all, once you decide to cut it all off, there is no turning back.
It might take years for the hair to return to its former length should you realize after the fact that you don’t like your new look.

Finding a professional stylist who knows exactly what you want is one of the best things you can do to assure that the results of your trim are every bit as amazing as you had hoped for. It’s almost always worth the extra money too. Whatever it costs is for future short-haired you to worry about!

He posted a video on YouTube where he helps a woman go from long hair to short hair, and it proves without a doubt why he is considered one of the most fabulous stylists in all of New York City.
The model in the video is a woman named Laura and her beautiful transformation is something that you just have to see for yourself.
Jerome puts Laura in the chair and begins by measuring her new hair length with his fingers and comb. He decides to trim it to about mid-ear-level on the sides and to just above the base of the neck on the back.
We then see all Laura’s amazing hair fall down to the floor, and honestly, it makes us nervous just watching it.
When undergoing a dramatic transformation such as this, you really are putting so much faith in the stylist not to mess up.
As the video continues, we see Laura’s new look slowly taking shape, and our nerves begin to calm a little bit.
It’s going to be okay!
The whole clip, no pun intended, is pretty amazing to watch.
Jerome is so talented, and we have to say, what he does with her bangs is nothing short of incredible!
The end result? Stunning. Absolutely stunning.
Laura looks so sexy with short hair and we are sure this is one woman that won’t regret the decision to go from long to short one bit. Although, at the end of the video, we do find out that, sadly, the choice wasn’t entirely hers.
Jerome decided to share another part of the story we didn’t realize beforehand.
It turns out, Laura went to see him to cut her hair before beginning treatment. Since she was going to lose the hair anyway, she figured it was as good as time as any to try out a new short style. However, we bet she is so glad she did.
She looks unbelievable. While the video was filmed during a time period of great change for Laura, we can safely say cutting the hair was the right decision!
