Headaches always seem to come at the most inopportune moments, and once they’re here, it feels like they’re here to stay. However, there’s a drug-free method to getting rid of headaches called acupressure. The science comes from a mixture of acupuncture and reflexotherapy, and it doesn’t take a lot of work to make that pain go away!

We’ve combined six methods to try out the next time you need help!

Yintang Point

The Yintang Point is your third eye center point, situated between your two eyebrows where the nose meets the forehead. Push on this for eye-fatigue issues!

Zan Zhu Points

This is two symmetrical points at the inner-edge of your eyebrows. Massaging this point for relief with a runny nose and helps with visual acuity. Massage these two points together for 1 minute to get the relief you need!

Yingxiang Points

If you need to open your sinuses, reduce a headache or a toothache, and relieve stress, then this one is for you! These points are on your cheeks on both sides of the nose in line with the inner-corners of your eyes. Press and massage this point for relief!

Tian Zhu Points

These two points are on the nape of your neck, symmetrical points at both sides of your neck. Massage these two points to relieve nasal congestion, pain in the eyes and ears, headaches and migraines!

Shuai Gu Points

This point is situated 2-3cm below the temple area and above the ears. You should feel a dimple in this point! Apply pressure to the two points to relieve pain in the temporal area and eye fatigue.

He Gu Points

This one is actually on your hand. This point is located on the back of both hands between the thumb and forefinger. Press on this area for when you are in need of back pain, toothache, and neck muscle relief.
