It’s no secret that dogs can be incredibly affectionate and just shower you with cuddles and love, and that’s definitely something that this man has recently experienced.

They don’t call dogs a “man’s best friend” for no reason, but this group of four-footers went above and beyond for a man that wasn’t even their owner.

A homeless man befriended a group of stray dogs a while ago, and they seemed to have formed an unbreakable bond together.

Canines really don’t judge, it doesn’t matter if you’re a world leader or a janitor, as long as you’re kind to them, dogs will love you back just for who you are. And that love can truly be incredible and heart-melting sometimes.

This beautiful story is the perfect proof of that.

This homeless man and these stray dogs had a lot in common: they were struggling to get by and had to survive on the streets.

Neither he nor the dogs were really happy with their lives, but they did have each other and that was priceless. The homeless man, Cesar, came across a number of stray pooches and it didn’t take long before they started hanging out together.

Unfortunately, Cesar has been struggling with his health almost his entire life.

With his chronic health issues, he’s been inside hospitals more times than he could remember. One day, his situation became so severe that he had to be admitted for special care in a medical facility.

Usually, people can count on the support and visits of friends and family, but this poor man had no one that cared for him. At least, no one that walked on two legs.

The hospital staff assumed that nobody would ever visit Cesar, but they were most definitely wrong.

Soon after he was admitted, the group of stray dogs was right there to comfort him!

Luckily, someone was able to capture the adorable and absolutely touching spectacle in a photo.

Cesar and these dogs did everything together – they were one group, one pack, and they weren’t about to leave anyone behind.

These dogs sat at the door until the man was finally released from the hospital, anxiously waiting until their human friend returned.

The hospital workers realized what was going on with these dogs, and they were incredibly touched by this beautiful act.

They let the dogs in, and even let them have dinner together with Cesar.

When it was time to leave, Cesar already had his trusted friends right beside him.

One of the hospital workers, Cris Mamprim, shared the adorable photo along with a few comments. All of this took place in Brazil, and the quote below has been translated.

“With so many people out there, I came across this scene today. At the hospital in which I work, at 3 am, while its owner (Street Dweller) was being answered, his companions waited at the door. A simple person, without luxury, who depends on help to overcome the hunger, the cold, the pain, the evils of the world, has by his side the best companions, and the exchange is reciprocal. Exchange of love, affection, warmth, understanding… A person who confessed to us that he stopped eating to feed them. I don’t know what his life is like, because he’s on the street, and I don’t even want to know and judge him, but I admire the respect and love he has for Seeing them like this, waiting on the door, just shows how much they are well care and loved. Oh if everyone was like this. if there was no evil, mistreatment. 😍😍🐶🐕💕” he wrote on Facebook.

What an amazing display of love and loyalty!
