Sometimes, dogs can definitely be a bit mad and annoying towards their owners, and that’s exactly what happened with this adorable boxer who listens to the name Hannibal.
The poor four-footer had always grown up in a warm and loving family, but one time, they decided to go on a large vacation and it was simply impossible for Hannibal to join them.
So what did they do? They brought the adorable boxer to Dogwoods Canine Play and Stay in Washington, so he could stay there for a little while until his human family got back home.
With Hannibal staying at a professional’s, the owners knew that he’d be in good hands while they enjoyed their time off. Furthermore, they also knew that Hannibal wouldn’t get bored and would have plenty of playtime with other dogs.
However, the boxer didn’t take this very lightly – in fact, he feels betrayed.
The hilarious expression on Hannibal’s face truly says it all!
For the dog, leaving him alone and away from home was just simply not done. You could tell he was mad, disappointed, and didn’t trust his owners anymore.
Even though it seemed like the perfect solution, Hannibal himself clearly wasn’t too happy about it. He didn’t really enjoy his temporary living area, but he didn’t seem overly sad either.
According to the staff, Hannibal never felt depressed or felt like they wouldn’t come back for him, but rather, he was a bit moody and angry that he wasn’t allowed to go with them on their vacation trip!
Hannibal’s hilarious antics and facial expressions captured the attention of one of the staff members, and he decided to make a video to send to his owners.
Luckily, the video has also made its way on the internet for all of us to see, and it’s truly hysterical to look at Hannibal’s reaction.
You see, Hannibal was actually glaring at everyone who walked around in the kennel – whether it was another four-footer or a staff member. Every time, he had this disappointed and slightly angry look on his face, and he just made everyone laugh.
When Hannibal notices that there’s a camera aimed at him, his body completely freezes – but his eyes keep following with a menacing glare!
That side-eye is definitely one you don’t want to come across.
The comments section on YouTube also joked around about Hannibal’s amazing facial expressions.
“This is like when your parent says ‘I’m not angry. Just disappointed,’” one comment read.
“Does he bite?” – “No, but he judges you” another joked.
Some people even thought that Hannibal was actually doing an uncanny imitation of Samuel L. Jackson!
