Everything sounds bigger and more powerful through a megaphone, and that’s something that this hilarious dog seemed to realize as well.
Of course, almost every pet owner will agree that dogs can be pretty needy animals sometimes, and they simply love to get our attention for as long as possible. Even though spending a whole day with your furry friends sounds absolutely perfect, we humans have a lot of responsibilities.
For dogs, it’s as if precious time and attention are going somewhere else, and this four-footer wouldn’t have any of that.
Luckily for the pooch, he figured out a perfect way to regain that attention.
It seems like he’s already seen a megaphone or two in his life, and he even figured out how to build one himself.
As soon as he found himself an empty toilet paper roll and got it stuck in his mouth, the adorable pooch seemed to realize that it actually served as a reliable megaphone.
Of course, the dog was so proud of his new discovery and just had to test it out!
It’s a good thing that the dog owner had his smartphone ready to capture the moment on tape because it’s absolutely hilarious and just so sweet to witness.
It also didn’t take long before the video went viral across Facebook and YouTube. It was shared by the popular page ‘America’s Funniest Home Videos’ back in 2017 and has been seen almost 600,000 times on this page alone.
People from all across the world just fell in love with this adorable canine and his owner.
In the video, we see the dog approaching his owner while making his presence known thanks to a growling sound. Of course, his human owner wants to get the toilet roll out of his mouth – but the dog is pretty keen on his new DIY megaphone.
“Let me see your mouth. What do you got in there?” the owner says to his dog.
As the video goes on, we can see how the dog is trying to use his toilet paper roll megaphone, and it’s evidently clear that he’s super proud of himself.
Just look at that tail wagging with pride! It looks like the four-footer never wants to let go of his new toy/musical instrument, and it’s about the most precious thing ever.
A couple of seconds later, we can see that the dog successfully managed to turn the tube around. This time, he has one end in his mouth with the other end sticking out – just like how megaphones are supposed to work.
“Can you speak”, his owner then asks.
The dog proceeds to growl once again through the tube!
“You sound like a cow!”
The video then goes on for a few more seconds, and it’s just so heartwarming to see these two having fun. When it went viral on Facebook, a lot of viewers also headed towards the comments section to talk about their own experiences with dogs and toilet paper rolls.
“It’s Akita thing they do that with out toilet paper roll lol. My boy does this when I get home from work,” one comment said.
“My Dog is going on 10 and these have been one of his favorite toys for years,” another viewer posted.
“Lmao, my dog loves playing with toilet paper rolls too and when I try to give him a real toy? No interest.”
This dog definitely found himself a new favorite toy!
