We grew up thinking that cats and dogs are sworn enemies. However, this is not the case. As of today, thanks to social media, we can see all sorts of animal friendships – dogs and cats included. Nope, they don’t fight whenever they see each other, nor are they at war with the other species.
Dogs, just like us humans, learn a lot from their parents, and in their case, their fur-parents. Your behavior will influence their behavior. If the fur-parent is compassionate and kind to other animals, this person’s pet, like her dog, for example, will know what it feels like to be kind to other animals as well.
Aside from this, we all know that dogs are one of the kindest, most compassionate animals.
We all know how loyal and sweet they are, yet we still get surprised by their kind actions towards other pets or animals. We’re pretty sure you are also very familiar with videos of dogs being the best playmate and baby sitter to their human siblings, right?

Our story begins when the owner of this brave and caring dog heard noises outside.
She got curious because it was really cold outside. No one would go out and do errands, let alone play.
She decided to go out and check out what’s happening, and that’s when she saw her pet.
Her beautiful and loving dog was dragging a poor cat.
Her heart melted as she saw her dog trying to rescue the poor kitten that was clearly almost frozen. The temperature outside was below zero, and as you can see in the video, snow is still falling.
It’s amazing how her dog was able to know that there was a kitten who needed his help outside. Surely, the poor cat wasn’t able to ask for help because it was almost unconscious.
This dog was so brave. He ran outside and saved the freezing kitten.
Not only that, the hero doggo carefully dragged the frozen kitten to his kennel – the one place he knew could save the kitten. The less-than-a-minute video shows how kind animals are.
In fact, we should learn a thing or two from them. They have the purest hearts, and seeing this short clip is only one of the many proofs that they are the kindest.
When the dog reached his kennel, he carefully dragged the kitten inside and then laid in front of his door, as if blocking the cold wind.
He wanted to keep the poor cat safe, warm, and dry.
This video already has more than 77K views and has received mixed comments. Some people were touched by how heroic the dog was, while others were more concerned about the fact that the dog was living outside in these harsh weather conditions.
Some comments were also about how the owner should have saved the kitten and the dog as soon as possible.
However, it seems that this kind, compassionate pooch didn’t need any help from mom at all. She’s already shown him what it means to help others in need, even when it’s a cat who needs your kennel.
