There are hundreds, if not thousands of different types of drinks in the world. Everyone has their favorite type of drinks. Whether it’s orange juice, Coca Cola, or just water, there are benefits from each type of drink. One drink in particular gives you the best type of benefits. It’s called tea!

There are many different types of teas, such as green tea and black tea. Of all the types of tea, each one provides certain benefits to the human body. Because of that, it’s always good to have a cup of tea. If you have any doubts, here are 7 reasons why drinking tea everyday is not only good for you, but great for you!

1) Green Tea helps you with weight loss.

Green tea contains the antioxidant EGCG, which has been proven to increase metabolism. The greater your metabolism, the more likely you’ll lose more weight. Green tea also contains caffeine, which burns fat cells in the body.

2) Green Tea prevents blindness.

Many of the same antioxidant, catechins, that are found in eye tissue are also found in green tea. When you drink green tea, the antioxidant is absorbed by parts of the eye, mainly the retina, which is the center of the eye responsible for vision.

3) Black Tea helps improve the health of your teeth.

Black tea contains polyphenols, which reduce the growth of bacteria in the roots of our teeth. These bacteria cause the build-up of plaque, but polyphenols remove them and keep our teeth in better condition. Although it is still very important to brush your teeth daily, black tea helps retain the cleanliness of your teeth.

4) Black Tea reduces digestive problems.

Black tea has a large amount of tannins, which means it largely heals intestinal disorders and congestion in your body. Many doctors advise patients who have diarrhea to drink black tea to reduce pain.

5) White Tea improves overall memory and level of focus.

White tea contains both caffeine and L-Theanine, which improve memory and reaction time. The combination of the two components of white tea also increase level of concentration. It is best to drink a cup of white tea before taking an exam or going into a meeting.

6) White Tea lowers cholesterol level.

White tea has a large amount of catechins, which are antioxidants that lower cholesterol level in the body. The more catechins that exist, the lower cholesterol, which means healthier arteries and better blood flow throughout the body! All teas have catechins, but white tea has the most.

7) Tea in general reduces chances of getting cancer.

It’s been well-known that drinking tea is a way to lower your chances of getting cancer. Green tea contains EGCG, which protects our cells from DNA damage. All teas contain polyphenols which restrict the growth of tumor activity. All teas also contain catechins which protect the skin from ultraviolet radiation from the sun. All these ingredients in tea prevent different forms of cancers.
