You’ll find that his recent makeovers are mostly of women over 45.
Women who are entering the later years of their life and want to re-spark the sense of self-confidence they had in their youth.
Women like Pat from McGregor Minnesota. Pat was “in her 70th year” when she gave The Makeover Guy a visit.
“When I was in high school, umm…,” Pat said in her makeover video. “I turned heads!”
Now that Pat was 70, she wanted a new look that would turn heads like she did when she was a teen.
“My grandmother was a really beautiful woman. I remember thinking ‘My gosh she can walk into a room and have people take notice. And I’m thinking at 70 that would be a kind of fun,” Pat said.
And Hopkins did not disappoint!
“Pat came from northern Minnesota with in need of a boost. I think you will agree, she got what she needed,” Hopkins said in the caption of the video of Pat’s makeover.
She sure did and you could immediately see the difference in her body language.
Pat was perky and filled with confidence over her new look.
“I’m thinking I’m going to start brushing my teeth every day,” Pat said before she and everyone else into the room went into hysterics.
Pat went into her appointment with a greyish blonde shoulder-length long bob that was parted on the side.
“I’d like to come out of here not having people guess if I’m a man or woman,” she Hopkins before her makeover.
Hopkins gave Pat a platinum look and cut a ton of weight out of her hair leaving the bottom light and wavy.
Her hair is cut at an angle above her shoulders. It gets shorter in the back where there are also some layers for depth and volume.
Her makeup job was simple but stunning with some cheek contouring, mascara and eyeliner, and a light pink lip.
“The only thing I wanted was to walk out of here and not have people wonder if I was male or female,” Pat said at the end of the video. “I still got the female part. I know how it feels. I’ve had it before, it’s nice to have it back.
There was no question that Pat was a sexy and confident 70-year-old woman when she left that salon.
She looks absolutely stunning! See the full makeover in the video below.
