You’re never too young to learn, and sometimes children are so passionate about something while being very talented at it as well. That’s definitely the case for this five-year-old girl, who has proved to the entire world that she’s an incredibly talented horseback rider. Of course, practice makes perfect, but seeing such a young person flawlessly perform this horse obstacle course is truly something stunning.
The five-year-old girl, Kinsley, and her trusty horse Ruby, a seven-year-old morgan draft cross mare, definitely make quite the team.
The horseback duo manages to impress everyone sitting in the audience while going through the entire 2’6′ jumping obstacle course. As for the background music, Kinsley chose ‘Let It Go’ from the hit Disney movie Frozen.
The footage was shot back in 2016 but has recently gone viral for all the right reasons. At the time of writing, the video has over 1.3 million views on YouTube!
The video starts with the little girl already on her horse, and it’s definitely a bit of a weird sight to behold.
Such a little girl on a rather large horse, it’s not exactly something you see every day. Some of the people in the audience were even shocked and quite nervous about the whole thing because if she made a bad fall, things could take a turn for the worse.
The people in the audience weren’t the only ones that were worried.
However, just like for the viewer above, the concerns and worries all fade away as Kinsley and Ruby do their thing. They’re absolute naturals!
Every single jump was made perfectly, and you can tell that these two have perfect chemistry together. They’re completely in sync, and the fact that they nailed this course is definitely thanks to their combined efforts.
As another viewer rightfully noted, Kinsley’s talent is definitely remarkable for her age right now. Viewers particularly commented on the height that Kinsley is able to achieve, and how much she trusts her horse.
“Slowing it down at 0:58 and watching closely, both rider and horse look comfortable and safe. Kinsley is in no way “yanking” on the bit. She relies on it for steering simply because her legs are not long enough to put much pressure on Ruby’s sides. I’m a rider, have been since I was about 12 years old. I jump this height now, at 17. I’ve loved horses since before I could speak (according to mom :P). Imagine where Kinsley could be in her teen years! Not every kid would willingly trust an animal this powerful which shows her devotion. I always wished I could’ve been learning to ride at that age,” varrylarry posted.
This commenter had to train for years to jump as high as little Kinsley can jump, which definitely puts things into perspective.
Throughout the whole video, we see the entire obstacle course from a couple of different angles. Ruby and Kinsley make a perfect jump every single time as the crowd cheers both of them on, showing their support.
The look on Kinsley’s face says it all, she’s determined to complete this whole course in a flawless manner!
