If you have a pet in the home, things can never really get boring. They’re such an endless source of joy, fun, and affection, we wouldn’t want to miss them for the world!
However, our pets do have the tendency to scare us sometimes. These fifteen pictures are a perfect example of pets who were feeling creepy, spooky, hilarious, or all of the above!
1) Impawssible
This Twitter-user posted a picture of his adorable cat and went viral on the platform with over 360,000 likes! “Nearly had a heart attack”, the post reads. This cat found a toy arm in the house, and the placement in this picture was very suspicious, to say the least! Luckily, this feline four-footer still has all of its paws right where they should be.
2) Split in half
This dog has seemingly taken the idea of the previous cat, and turned it up to eleven! The pour four-footer looks like he was completely split in half, but the other half is simply a very canine-like log. Imagine seeing this outside of your cabin!
3) Kitchen troubles
Seeing this sight in the home will definitely give you a huge panic attack, but fear not! This feline simply was a bit too interested in a pack of paprika, and that results was this spicy mess on the floor. Oopsies.
4) Skin and bones
Your adorable pooch laying right next to this bone with a shoe still on it, it has got to make you wonder if all the neighbors are alright! Luckily, this dog was just playful instead of a man-eating four-footer.
5) Where’s my tail?
This is perhaps one of the most convincing pictures of dogs who are missing bodyparts – it looks exactly like this dog has lost its tail! Even though the resemblance is uncanny, this was actually a cat toy that was in just the right place at the right time.

A quick glance at these pictures, and you’d think that this cat actually has a hole right in her side. Luckily, these are only clever photos with fitting backgrounds. However, if we saw this in real life, we’d definitely want to check all sides of this adorable cat just to be sure!
7) Well this is creepy
If you’ve ever seen the popular ceiling cat memes, this picture will definitely stand out! Most people are not sure whether to find this creepy or absolutely hilarious, but it looks like the cat is having fun up there.
8) What a cute doggo!
Apparently, some dogs are just really into make-up and lipstick, and this is the perfect example of that. This four-footer tried some make-up and then jumped right onto her owner’s bed. How sweet!
9) Night vision makes everything scarier
Some security systems come with motion detection built-in, and this is the image that one man saw when the alert was triggered. This family’s dog was seemingly very interested in the infrared camera, and the night vision mode just makes everything scarier!
10) Found something
We all know that pets can surprise us sometimes, but owners would rather not have any surprises like this! This dog was enjoying some time digging in the backyard, and was a proud pooch when he returned this to his owner! He found an absolutely huge beetle that is just too scary to look at. We hope this owner simply put it back, gross!
11) Rooftop discovery
When this dog owner came back home, this is what he found. His loyal four-footer seemed to have climbed on the roof, and to this day, the man has no idea how his dog got up there. Luckily, nobody was hurt and he got back down safely.
12) A perfect Halloween costume
The winner for best Halloween costume clearly wouldn’t go to a human, but to this four-footer instead. Or rather – we’re not so sure that he has four feet anymore, because this dog is dressed up as an absolutely humongous spider. It’s horrifying at first, but hilarious once you get over the initial shock.
13) Smiles are dangerous
It’s undeniable that smiles can be dangerous, but this dog’s smile can definitely be a little bit creepy too! Even though it’s all in good fun and this is probably a really sweet pooch, all those exposed teeth can definitely be scary!
14) Siamese twins?
These dogs definitely look like Siamese twins, or perhaps a two-headed mythical Cerberus dog. Luckily, these dogs were simply standing right next to each other, which resulted in this funny picture.
15) Big head mode activated
In some videogames, a classic fun thing to do is to activate a ‘big head mode’, and all the characters will walk around with a disproportionally sized head. This dog seems to have taken some inspiration, and it made for this incredible lucky picture!
