Christmas is one of the most festive seasons of the year. People all around the globe wait for it and even make countdowns until finally, it’s Christmas Day. Christmas lights illuminate the houses and you can hear lots of wonderful songs about the season. Of course, establishments and home alike are doing their best to decorate their buildings to honor the occasion.

While there are bunches of incredible things that are awesome and beautiful about Christmas, that doesn’t mean that this season is totally free from epic failures when it comes to the design of anything and everything about it. Decors don’t always bring nostalgic feelings, but instead, they make people roll on the floor laughing because of their ridiculousness. Curious? 1. Bears bending over

Polar bears as a decor for Christams is not a bad thing. They represent the North Pole after all. Just don’t position them like they did in this mall, please.

2. Blind reindeers

Someone decided that these reindeers did not need their eyes. So they poked their eyesinstead. Poor fellas.

3. Epic misspelling

You should never, ever make a grave misspelling especially on a Christmas themed decor in a public area. Just one letter and Santa turned into the devil.

4. Santa’s favorite Ho?

Why, oh, why would Santa have to have a favorite Ho? We know what they intended to mean by this, but it still sounds awful and does not make sense at all. And it is worn by little girls!

5. Never use chocolate bells on cookies

A woman wanted to surprise her family with chocolate cookies but she did not have any chocolate chips in her kitchen. She decided to put chocolate bells instead and this is the result. Want some Christmas boobies?

6. What are you holding Santa?

This Santa statue in Rotterdam is bringing a bell and something that looks like a big phallic looking thing. Or was it supposed to be a Christmas tree? What in the world is it?

7. This was removed days later

This mall thought that putting a squirrel with a Christmas hat on top of a Christmas tree will make the mall guests happy. Well, it didn’t and it is creepy, so they had to take it down just a few days later.

8. Creepy!

This is by far the creepiest Chrismas themed sign I have seen. The reindeer is too close to the boy, and the boy’s face looks so creepy!

9. Oops!

Now, that’s an unfortunate place to put the Christmas balls. This could have been a perfect family picture, but they had to make the mistake of placing the Christmas balls in the wrong area.

10. Oh Oh Oh!

Nobody must have thought about this other point of view when they decided to place these Chrismas lights. From one side, it looks really genius. From the other, it looks pretty stupid.

11. Mind the Space bar

Always remember to put spaces on the right places when making slogans. This could have been a really intriguing phrase, but it turned into something really funny because they incorrectly removed the space between “wise’ and “men”.

12. “Little berby Jesus”

Okay, what am I looking at? I know it’s supposed to look like baby Jesus in a manger, however it looks anything but.

13. Not a funny gift

This guy received a fun Christmas gift at work. It is a gun-shaped whistle and he needs to put the barrel in his mouth to make a sound.

14. Olaf from hell

From what I remember in the movies, Olaf is this sweet, snowman who likes warm hugs. This ornament looks like his creepy counterpart from hell, though.

15. I wonder what it could be

Ooh, a surprise Christmas toy! Well, except that it is not a surprise at all because the package is fully transparent!

16. Snowman eating a penguin

Is this a snowman? Or a penguin? To me, it looks like a snowman devouring a poor penguin and it is not cute at all!

I always thought that the North Pole is where Santa is. I didn’t realize that Satan actually lives there, too.

We all love a challenge sometimes. This “Where’s Wally?” advent calendar is supposed to be giving a puzzle, but it is not giving much of a challenge at all.

Clearly, the person who designed this Christmas item is not aware of how a dog looks like. He put a cat in the sock, for goodness’ sake!

These Christmas lights are okay, but looking at the switch, someone saw something weird. Does the switch always say “Off” and “No”?

Choosing a font is crucial especially if you do not want people to get the wrong idea and for people to buy it for the wrong reasons. This book cover is a great example of a font style fail. What’s supposed to be “Facts and Fancies” now look “Farts and Fancies”!

23. They did not notice it right away

Someone bought an advent calendar and made the mistake of buying it without checking very carefully. It actually has two rows of numbers 9 to 12 and has no rows for numbers 13 to 16.

24. This confusing sign

Can you explain to me what this sign means? I know it’s for Christmas but the placing of the letters make it look like an impossible code to solve.

25. Santa did what?

Oh my, Santa didn’t! It’s just that the placing of words are so awful that this looks like a dirty secret we weren’t supposed to read on Christmas.

26. Upside down Santa

At first glance, it appears like there’s nothing wrong about this sock. But looking closely, don’t you think Santa’s face is upside down?

What in the world were they thinking when they wrote the words in this cup? Just write the words next to each other if you can’t get it right using this style.

Behold another spelling epic fail that is now in this card. If a sock is supposed to be letter “O”, then does this card say “Christmas soocks” then?

There’s been a Grinch-themed office party. All’s good except for this epic mistake of replacing “Whosville” with “Hoville”. I believe this one’s pretty intentional.

It’s Christmas eve and you see this sign. Would you even consider this as a holiday greeting at all? It looks like a really awful code to me where the only clear word I see is “pee”.

Christmas this year will not be at Grandma’s. Why? Because she hosted the party this year and arranged the table like this.

Are these bears supposed to give a Christmas vibe to the mall? They look like they’re stoned and are out to get the mall goers.

Look, this is definitely the work of someone who loves to say the obvious. These bell-shaped bells are great for the Christmas tree-shaped Christmas tree, then.

Oh, Grandma, why would you buy these candle holders? The way their mouths are opened too wide makes me cringe, especially after realizing that they are holding candles that are obviously phallic-shaped.

Yes, Christmas is a season of joy and it is okay to jump when you are joyful. Just don’t put a sign like this on a bridge, for goodness’ sake! This Santa looks suicidal!

41. I don’t need any syrup, Santa

I don’t know how exactly Santa is producing the syrup for the pancakes, but that’s something I won’t want ever. I can have the dryest, plainest pancakes and I won’t care.

Here’s another fail that online shoppers can relate to. Husband ordered a color changing mug for his wife only to find out that it doesn’t.

43. This is supposed to be a Christmas tree

This is supposed to be a Christmas tree, but to me, it just looks like a huge pile of poop. I mean, they could have at least thought of making it green like a Christmas tree, but no, they decided it would be better off as brown.

This is Santa being hugged by a child. It did not intend to look perverted but that’s what it looks like to people passing by that eventually, the mall decided to pull it out of the shelves.

I know what you are thinking, but you need to look again. It says “Flickering”, dude.

One mom accidentally made her child go to school wearing his ugly sweater. That’s not even the worst part yet. His teacher called it out and emphasized what Santa was doing.

All the while, someone was thinking about the reason why they have a severed toe ornament on the Christmas tree. It turned out to be a baby Jesus ornament when you look at it up close.

Everyone at a woman’s party was having a laugh over her ceramic Santa. Why? Because although the ceramic looks nice from the front view, it looks extremely phallic from the back!

Can you believe that this is a Christmas tree in France? The only indication that it is one is probably the shape and color. Other than that, it looks like a very big upside down spintop to me.

51. Santaur

Why someone thought it would be great to combine Greek mythology with Christmas is simply beyond me. This Santaur looks like a very old centaur wearing a Christmas hat and gloves.

52. Something’s not right here

A woman thought this ornament is not weird, just a group of snowmen having fun. But there definitely is something off about these three snowmen, at least based on her children’s opinion.

53. Bloody cup

It’s nice to give a mug as a gift on Christmas. Just make sure it doesn’t look like an item spilled with blood. Not all things painted in red are Christmas-y.

54. This is not a pine tree!

Looks like someone wanted to get a pine tree, but they are not available to they just lit up the palm tree instead. The different color of lights for the trunk and the leaves as well as the phallic shape of the tree trunk are not helping either.

55. Oh, the beard of Santa

Look closely at Santa’s white beard where pictures of little children can be seen. This looks pretty disturbing, as if Santa’s beard is filled with the souls of children he took.

56. Not on palm trees!

Why, oh why, do people put Christmas lights on palm trees? They look totally phallic and so unfit for the festive season!

57. A blatant lie

This box says four ornaments when we obviously see only three. This is such a blatant act of lying and we’re supposed to be nice and kind especially at Christmas!

58. What reindeers?

What reindeers are they talking about in this chocolate’s packaging? They look like bunnies to me. But, hey, this is still chocolate so I forgive you for this mistake.

59. Why is there a peeping guy in this children’s book?

First and foremost, this is a children’s book. Children are going to read this for the seek-and-find related to the 12 days of Christmas and yet, we clearly see a peeping guy in a women’s fitting room. What is happening here?

60. Crappy Holidays!

You see, not everything in the department store is fit for a Christmas theme, just like these plungers that are also supposed to be tiny Christmas trees. Or maybe they are just trying to tell us that some Christmases are really crappy.

61. A ribbon, not a butthole.

Look, a horse statue with a bow on his tail. Yes, that’s a bow, not a butthole with a severe case of hemorrhoids.

62. Not a couple of singing buttholes

What in the world am I looking at? Are these singing buttholes? Turns out they are reindeers looking up as they sing.

63. A creepy angel

Is this supposed to be an angel? The way its eyes look at the side with a really creepy smile reminds me of a horror movie.

64. Design fail!

What is this supposed to be? I get what the Christmas balls are for but the red, phallic-looking thing is beyond me.

65. Reese’s, why?

We need answers, Reese’s. You said this is a tree and it isn’t, obviously.

66. I keep seeing it

I know you saw it, too. This certainly looks like a thigh gap and a camel toe, don’t you dare deny it!

What’s up with this wrapper? Santa clearly laugh his signature Ho Ho Ho, not Oh Oh Oh.

This Santa’s eyelashes are in his eyeballs and it is quite creepy AF. Anatomy needs to be right, too, especially if you are making a plush toy of a person’s image.

69. Shotgun shell Christmas lights

Apparently, war does not stop at Christmas. Someone probably wanted to emphasize this which is why they decided to make shotgun shells as Christmas lights for the tree.

70. Don’t open ’til Christmas

Why in the world would someone put this awful and cringe-worthy sentence on their daughter’s clothes and right on her rear end, too! Whoever thought this was a good design idea is simply out of their wits.

Clearly, nobody is perfect. But, these design fails are far beyond our expectation of acceptable!
