Popular Cosmetic Line Chooses Young Woman With Down Syndrome As Ambassador

July 3rd, 2019

Luckily, some fashion and cosmetics companies have trashed the classic beauty ideals of extremely thin supermodels, but are focusing on more common and more realistic beauty expectations instead.

It’s no secret that the standards have changed in a good way over the past few years, and more and more companies are now trying to break that classic ideal of beauty.

One of those companies is Benefit Cosmetics, who has chosen someone with Down syndrome to be one of the faces of their marketing campaign and the brand as a whole.

The 20-year-old Kate Grant has been dreaming of a career in beauty all her life. She already has a bit of experience modeling, as she received the crown during the Teen Ultimate Beauty of the World pageant in her home country. She even appeared on national television, during the tv-show ‘This Morning’ in 2018.

Being one of the new faces of the company, Kate can be seen in numerous promotional materials and Instagram-posts.

Benefit Cosmetics absolutely fell in love with her and didn’t hesitate when they realized what a kind and beautiful woman she was. Kate can be seen promoting their new line-up roller liner eyeliner products. The company sells its products worldwide in more than 2000 different stores.
